I discovered Gimp from Teacher’s Tec (https://youtu.be/VGkkbHHcLu0)  Gimp is an open-source, free program that you download and use on your computer.  You can download the latest version is 2.10.12 here: https://www.gimp.org/.  It can be used in Windows, Mac and Linux systems.  

According to David, there are many YouTube instructional videos. He recommended Nick Soprano’s videos. You can find his series here:https://logosbynick.com/gimp/

David demonstrated creating a new file as well as cropping a photo.  He explained that you can save your work in a huge variety of file types through Export.
